On Monday evening, the sounds of angelic, Swedish age-old carols, led by the traditional
Sankta Lucia Bride in her crown of lingonberry leaves and candles, rang out on Manhattan’s Madison Avenue. Renowned shirt maker
Eton of Sweden brought the beauty and magic of the traditional Swedish Sankta Lucia festival to its brand new Madison Avenue home, the company’s first ever US flagship store.

Social and entertainment influencers from Sweden and New York packed the gorgeous boutique, mingling and keeping warm during the season’s first snowfall. Dashing
New York Rangers goaltender and three-time MVP, Henrik Lundqvist,
joined Eton in welcoming guests to the Grand Opening holiday celebration. Traveling from Sweden for the celebration were Eton President – and grandson of the founders –
Hans Davidson along with Eton Creative Manager Sebastian Dollinger
and Senior Advisor, Jan Borghardt.

CELEBRATE NEW YEARS EVE IN STYLE WITH
THE EDISON BALLROOM
This New Year’s Eve, discard the traditional trappings of the holiday and transport yourself to one of the finest venues in the world. The Edison Ballroom, normally reserved for private events and corporate affairs, will open its doors to the general public for a New Year’s celebration unlike anything available throughout the city.
After welcoming in the New Year, guests will be invited to dance well into the night, enjoying a full open-bar and live music until 2AM. |
Providing the soundtrack for the evening will be legendary big band leader Joe Battaglia and his New York Big Band.
Battaglia, who has traveled the world performing with icons like Frank Sinatra, Shirley Bassey and Tony Bennett for dignitaries such as Hilary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani and Barbara Walters, will play sets throughout the evening with surprise guests joining him on stage.

Tickets for the evening are available for the convenient price of $275 for dinner, including all food, drinks and gratuities beginning at 8PM.
After 10PM, general admission tickets are also available at a price of $150 per person which includes drinks, passed hors d’oeuvres, gratuities and of course, dancing.

Casino Benefit Raises Awareness
for Child Sexploitation

About 200 guests braved the frigid wind chill to attend RedLight Children’s
casino themed benefit at Amnesia nightclub in Manhattan.
Professional poker players Beth Shak and Tom McEvoy,
as well as actress and model Amy Weber, were among the celebrity guests that turned out to support
ending child sex trafficking, a multi-billion dollar global industry exploiting two million children.
Almost 50 prizes were doled out between the raffle, Texas Hold-‘em poker, blackjack and roulette tournaments and a silent auction.
Top prizes included a two-night stay in Atlantic City’s Caesar’s Palace, a Las Vegas trip
and an African Safari.
